My name is Dianne Rico and I am a self taught artist. I draw my inspiration from the creatures and nature that surrounds me.

​

Growing up exploring the mountains and forests of the Eastern United States and the Northern BC Canada coast, I developed a love and admiration for the beauty and tranquility of nature.

​

Having a free creative spirit, I enjoy using many mediums to try and mirror the beauty and spirit of nature. I focus most of my artistic energy on capturing the world as I see it, so my style of choice is realism. 

​

Painting is one of my passions, and although I do use acrylics for larger mural pieces, my medium of choice is the soft flowing characteristics of watercolor for my nature inspired pieces.

​

When natures beauty is reflected in one of my paintings, then I feel my painting is complete.
